Welcome to Top Bananas!

Top Bananas Pre-School is a new and exciting setting, located within the Life Centre, Moordown. It is run by highly qualified and experienced practitioners who are enthusiastic about their role. The ethos of the setting is to Play, Learn and Grow together.

Top Bananas is situated within the Life Centre. It has its own private entrance via Brassey Road, 100 meters along on the left hand side. Enter through the car park and towards the back, where the outside play area can be seen. A secure door entry system is in place to ensure the safety of the children. Little Bananas and Big Bananas have their own separate entrance and this is clearly visible.

The Pre-School is open:

The Nursery is open:

8:30am to 12:30pm

12:30pm to 16:30pm

The Pre-School and Nursery will be closed on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and the week in between Christmas and New Year.

Breakfast Club also available for Pre-School.

The session

We organise our sessions so that the children can choose from, and work at, a range of activities and, in doing so, build up their ability to select and work through a task. The children are also helped and encouraged to take part in adult-led small and large group activities, which introduce them to new experiences and help them to gain new skills, as well as helping them to learn to work with others.

Outdoor activities contribute to children's health, their physical development and their knowledge of the world around them. The children have the opportunity, and are encouraged, to take part in outdoor child-chosen and adult-led activities, as well as those provided in the indoor playrooms.
